Did you know that not all witches wear that scrunkey black pointed hat? Pish, it’s hard enough to travel through time and the local CVS without being detected let alone wear that stupid pointed hat. Sunglasses are a much better disguise. After going from sea to land with acquired land-legs (what? like it’s hard?), which wasn’t quite the challenge I thought it would be, I decided to take on a new skill, hobby, interest and learn the craft.
What craft? Well, it’s not making paper-mache bracelets or decorated dish towels that’s for sure. And it’s not assembling a collection of beetle horns or frog oil (although if you have these handy you are well ahead of many mortals). No. I prefer gathering power from the ether around me. You see, power is in the ether everywhere. This is a mermaid secret of the deep, and as a former mermaid I can attest to the truth in it.
–Um–OK, now I have said too much. For those only skimming the text and planning to move on quickly, move on now.
But for those few…those few who want to take a dip further, you will be rewarded. Don those sunglasses. Don THE ATTITUDE.
